U-Seal 204 Speed is a high-performance, flexible, one-component polyurethane adhesive with excellent adhesion and fast curing, designed specifically for direct glass installation in vehicles. This product is specially formulated to ensure a quick and safe drive-away time of just 1 hour for vehicles equipped with airbags.
Application
U-Seal 204 Speed is specially designed for windshield bonding in automotive glass replacement, side and rear windows for passenger cars, trucks, tractors, and specialty vehicles. It is also used for bonding fiberglass reinforced plastic components (roofs, side panels, and front panels) on vehicles. The product can be used in all applications requiring a strong elastic structural bond between materials with different components (automotive paint, metal sheets, fiberglass, and reinforced plastics) that must withstand significant mechanical or thermal impacts.

Instructions for Use
nsert the adhesive cartridge into a manual or pneumatic caulking gun (equipped with a telescopic piston). Surfaces to be bonded must be thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free from dust and grease. The windshield and its bonding surfaces should be pre-treated according to NPT’s application guidelines, using a CLEANER or ACTIVATOR product. It is recommended to conduct preliminary adhesion tests on the supporting surface.
Do not allow curing in the presence of curing silicone sealants. Avoid contact with alcohol and other solvent-based cleaners during curing. When applying the sealant, ensure no air is trapped. Since this system cures through moisture, ensure adequate exposure to air. Bonded components may need to be held or supported during curing. Shaping and finishing should be done while the sealant is still tacky.
Cleaning Instructions
Clean tools using acetone or solvent. When the adhesive is uncured, it can be wiped off with paper or cloth. Once the adhesive has cured, removal can only be done mechanically. Avoid direct skin contact by wearing latex, rubber, or polyethylene gloves. If the adhesive contacts skin, remove immediately and wash with soap and water.
Storage Instructions
U-Seal 204 Speed can be stored for 12 months in its original (unopened) packaging at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C in a cool, dry place. The storage temperature should not exceed 25°C for extended periods. Keep away from damp areas, direct sunlight, and heat sources.
