Application Instructions
-
Insert the adhesive cartridge into the manual or pneumatic applicator gun (equipped with a telescopic piston).
-
Surfaces to be treated must be completely clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or oil.
-
Prepare the windshield and bonding surfaces according to NPT’s application guidelines, using specialized CLEANER or ACTIVATOR products from the NPT range and the U-PRIMER 130 black primer. Preliminary adhesion testing on the supporting surface is recommended.
-
For detailed guidance on primer use, material samples can be sent to our laboratory for testing.
-
Do not cure in the presence of curing silicone sealants. Avoid contact with alcohol and other solvent-based cleaning agents during curing.
-
While applying the sealant, avoid trapping air. Since this adhesive cures by moisture, ensure adequate exposure to air. Bonded parts may need to be held or supported during curing.
-
Shaping and finishing should be done before the adhesive skins over.
Cleaning Instructions
-
Clean tools used with acetone or solvent.
-
While the adhesive is still uncured, it can be wiped off with paper or fabric. Once cured, it can only be removed by mechanical methods.
-
Avoid direct skin contact by wearing latex, rubber, or polyethylene gloves. If the adhesive contacts the skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
Storage Instructions
-
U-Seal 207 Plus can be stored for 12 months if kept in its original (unopened) packaging at temperatures between 10°C and 25°C, in a dry, cool place.
-
Storage temperatures should not exceed 25°C for long periods. Keep away from damp areas, direct sunlight, and heat sources.
