What is the difference between
single-component (1C) adhesive and two-component (2C) adhesive?
Single-component (1C) adhesive consists of a single component and is very easy to use as it does not require mixing before application.
In contrast, two-component (2C) adhesive consists of two separate parts that need to be mixed thoroughly before use.
Thanks to the chemical curing process, 2C adhesives provide stronger bonding strength and higher load resistance.
1C adhesives are ideal for simple applications that require quick application, while 2C adhesives are suitable for bonds that require high strength and heavy load-bearing capacity.
